In March 2019, I took Richie's Caribbean Spices to the next level by delivering a full branding overhaul. This included designing a fresh logo, building a user-friendly website, crafting social media kits, and even creating custom uniforms. This project was a turning point that showed me how powerful cohesive branding can be for a business’s success.
In September 2020, I quietly laid the foundation for DesignsMyThing, turning my passion for design and smart systems into a real business. While it’s been growing behind the scenes, this soft launch marked the moment I stopped treating it like a side project and started building it with serious intention. The vision was clear: to support entrepreneurs with creativity, structure, and heart, even before the world fully saw it coming.
In May 2021, I designed a standout logo and crafted motivational slogans that were used across digital platforms and branded attire, marking my first project beyond the family circle. This was more than just a design job; it was the first time someone believed in my vision, trusted my creative voice, and invested in my ability to bring their brand to life. It gave me the confidence to step into my creative purpose and show up as the designer I was growing into, with clarity, intention, and pride.
In September 2022, I launched my first admin and systems package to help businesses with hygiene compliance and daily operations. Drawing on years of experience across admin, management, and running my own ventures, I’d built simple systems that made work easier and less stressful. Realising many entrepreneurs struggle with this, I turned my skills into a service that saves time, creates order, and lets business owners focus on what they love. People will pay for that kind of peace of mind and I love providing it.
